The prior format

This format is still available. Select the main menu, then Settings, to make the old format the default.

The new format

The image is shown with a navigation bar at the top, and title bar at the bottom. Screen numbers are shown in the lower-left corner.

Resizing the window will maintain the correct proportion of the image and the image will be adjusted to fit the new window dimensions.

Interactive map

When creating a Web page for a walk, you can optionally create a map that shows the walk track with the observations and images shown at the positions they were recorded.

The map can be moved around, contracted, or expanded to show more details.

Zooming in and selecting a thumbnail image will open a larger version.

Clicking on the Larger image link in the picture will show a full screen version of the image.

Click anywhere on the image to close it.

A minor anomaly

If you requested a map when creating a web page, it’s possible the map will be the first page to show on the site when opened. This should not happen. However, if it does, it’s undoubtedly a result of the background processing that requires the map to be the first page to be loaded when the site is opened, but then moves to what should be the first page displayed, which is the title page. Sometimes this latter adjustment does not occur, in which case the user must back up one screen to display the title.
